Genie Nutrition Reading & Listening Recommendations

Recommended Listening

The following podcasts have been an invaluable part of my health education and I would highly recommend adding them to your podcast feed as much of what I will be guiding you through as we work together, will often be discussed in more depth during these weekly podcasts. The great thing about podcasts is you can listen to them on your way to work, whilst you're in the bath, or simply doing the cooking. Happy listening!

Recommended Reading

If you are currently suffering from 'Information Overload', then STOP! reading. But for those of you who want to delve into particular subjects a bit more deeply, the following books are highly recommended. Alternatively, please take a look at my recommended podcasts list for those who don't have the time available to read a book (Audible is great FYI!!)

My in depth personal reviews of each of these books will follow over the coming months so please stay tuned:

Nourishing Traditions - Sally Fallon

My go to book for traditional cooking methods that won’t silently destroy my health. This book is a must for anyone looking to educate themselves and their family on the best cooking methods to use

The Metabolic Typing Diet - William Wolcott

Everyone is unique so why follow a diet that has been constructed for the masses?! This amazing book from William Wolcott is a fantastic eye opener to Metabolic Typing. A must read for anyone who wants to start taking control of their own health. Be-warned, once you read this, there will be no going back!

Brain over Binge - Kathryn Hansen

This book changed my life! After years of battling with sugar and food addiction, this book gave me hope and gave me the strength to take control of my future. An amazing true story of how Kathryn Hansen recovered from years of Bulimia. I would highly recommend this book to anyone suffering from Compulsive Eating, Binge Eating Disorder or Bulimia. It really touched me and struck a cord which changed my mindset forever.
